For postoperative inflammation, instill one drop in the affected eye four times daily beginning 24 hours after cataract surgery and continuing through the first 2 weeks. Separate use of other topical eye medications by at least 5 minutes.\n\nWarnings and Precautions\n\nMay slow or delay corneal healing\nCorneal effects including keratitis, thinning, erosion, ulceration, and perforation have been reported\nMay increase bleeding time due to interference with platelet aggregation\nDo not administer while wearing contact lenses\nContraindications\n\nContraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.\n\nAdverse Reactions\n\nThe most common adverse reactions are transient stinging and burning on instillation. Other reactions include corneal edema, iritis, ocular inflammation, and rarely corneal ulcer or perforation.\n\nStorage and Handling\n\nStore at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F) and protect from light.\n\nHow Supplied\n\nSupplied as a sterile ophthalmic solution, 5 mL in a bottle.\n\nProfessional use only.
