Indications and Usage
Indicated for ophthalmic procedures requiring a disclosing agent in combination with a topical ophthalmic anesthetic agent.
Dosage and Administration
Instill 1 to 2 drops in the eye as needed to achieve adequate anesthesia, prior to the procedure.
Warnings and Precautions
- Not for injection; for topical ophthalmic use only
- Prolonged use may produce permanent corneal opacification and visual loss due to corneal epithelial toxicity
- Corneal damage may occur with repeated use; the product should be dispensed and applied by a healthcare provider
- The anesthetic effect eliminates the protective blink reflex, so patients should avoid touching the eye for approximately 20 minutes and protect the eye from irritants and contamination
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of this product.
Adverse Reactions
The most common adverse reactions are stinging, burning, and conjunctival redness; ocular hyperemia, eye irritation, blurred vision, and punctate keratitis have also been reported.
Storage and Handling
Store in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). After opening, may be stored up to one month at room temperature, or until the expiration date if kept refrigerated.

Yellow to orange-red sterile ophthalmic solution supplied in a 5 mL glass bottle with a sterilized dropper.
