About the Product

Biotrue Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution is a sterile, isotonic contact lens care solution. This pack contains two 10 fl oz (296 mL) bottles, 20 fl oz (592 mL) in total. Biotrue Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution is indicated for use in the daily cleaning, conditioning, removing protein deposits, rinsing, chemical (not heat) disinfection, and storage of soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses, including silicone hydrogel contact lenses, as recommended by your eye care practitioner.

This is the all in one lens care solution used in a daily soft lens routine: one bottle rinses lenses before wear, and cleans, disinfects and stores them in the lens case between wears, so no separate cleaner, rinse or storage solution is needed. Each cycle is a 20 second rub on each side, a 5 second rinse on each side, and at least 4 hours of soaking in fresh solution.

Materials

• Hyaluronan A moisturizer found naturally in tears.
• Erythritol and diglycine Components of the Hydration Plus formula.
• Poloxamine and poloxamer 181 The surfactant components of the solution.
• Boric acid, sodium borate, sodium citrate and potassium chloride Buffering and tonicity agents that make the solution isotonic.
• Polyaminopropyl biguanide 0.00005%, polyquaternium 0.00015% and alexidine 0.00025% The triple disinfectant system the solution is preserved with.

A sterile, isotonic solution containing hyaluronan, diglycine, erythritol, poloxamine, poloxamer 181, sodium citrate, boric acid, sodium borate, edetate disodium and potassium chloride, preserved with polyaminopropyl biguanide 0.00005%, polyquaternium 0.00015% and alexidine 0.00025%.

How to Use

1. Place at least 3 drops of Biotrue Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution on each side of lens surface and gently rub for 20 seconds.
2. Thoroughly rinse each side of the lens for 5 seconds with Biotrue Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution.
3. Place cleaned contact lenses in the lens case and fill with fresh Biotrue Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution. Soak at least 4 hours.

Care and Cleaning

Clean, rinse and air-dry your lens case each time you remove your lenses. Replace your lens case at least once every 3 months or as directed by your eye care practitioner.

Warnings

PROBLEMS WITH CONTACT LENSES AND LENS CARE PRODUCTS COULD RESULT IN CORNEAL INFECTION AND/OR ULCER AND LEAD TO LOSS OF VISION.

• Fill your lens case with fresh solution every time you store your lenses, and never top-off or re-use solution.
• Do not expose, store your lenses in, or rinse your lens case with any water, such as tap, bottled or distilled, or with any non-sterile solution.
• Lenses may be stored in the unopened case until ready to wear, up to a maximum of 30 days.
• Replace your lens case at least once every 3 months or as directed by your eye care practitioner.
• Follow the complete recommended lens rubbing and rinsing times in the product labeling. Reduced rubbing or rinsing time may not adequately clean your lenses.
• Never use water, saline solution or rewetting drops to disinfect your lenses.
• Not for use with heat (thermal) disinfection.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store solution at room temperature in a tightly closed bottle. Discard any remaining solution 90 days after opening the bottle. Use before the expiration date marked on the carton and bottle.
