About the Product

The BlephEx Handpiece and Charger is the equipment set for the in-office BlephEx eyelid cleaning procedure, available in the Choice, Pinnacle and Value packages. The handpiece is a handheld powered instrument that spins a disposable micro sponge tip along the eyelid margins and lash line, and the charging station keeps it ready between appointments. Disposable micro sponge tips are ordered separately as procedural tip packs.

The handpiece is operated by a licensed eye care professional, who keeps the device under control throughout the procedure. The procedure is performed chairside during a scheduled office visit.

How to Use

For professional use in a clinical setting by a licensed eye care professional, following the BlephEx instructions for use.

1. Fit a new disposable micro sponge tip from a procedural pack.
2. Clean along the eyelid margins and lash line with the rotating tip, keeping the device under professional control throughout.
3. Use one tip per eye, then discard both tips after the procedure.

Care and Cleaning

The micro sponge tips are disposable and single use. One procedural tip pack holds two tips, one for each eye, and covers one patient. Tips are supplied separately in boxes of 20 packs. The charger keeps the handpiece ready between appointments.
