Bruder Hygienic Eyelid Care Kit

About the Product

A four component eyelid hygiene kit containing pre-moistened cleansing wipes, a hypochlorous acid eyelid spray, a reusable moist heat eye compress and disposable eyelid sheets.

The kit gathers the four pieces of a daily eyelid hygiene routine into one box, so the wipes, the spray, the compress and the sheets do not have to be bought separately. In order of use, the closed lids are wiped, then sprayed and left to dry for about 30 seconds, and then the warmed compress is worn over the closed eyes for 8 to 10 minutes.

Key Ingredients

• Hypochlorous acid, 0.02%, in the eyelid solution The cleansing agent in the spray, produced by electrolysing salt water.
• PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate and Decyl Glucoside, in the wipes The mild nonionic surfactants that do the cleansing work in the wipe solution.
• Panthenol, in the wipes Provitamin B5, included in the wipe solution as a conditioning humectant.
• Methyl Gluceth-20, in the wipes A glucose derived humectant that holds water in the wipe solution.

Bruder Hygienic Eyelid Solution: 0.02% pure hypochlorous acid solution. Contains no alcohol, oil, sulfates, parabens or added fragrance.

How to Use

1. Remove contact lenses prior to use. Clean hands. Close eyes and wipe gently over the upper and lower eyelid with a Bruder Hygienic Eyelid Cleansing Wipe.
2. Shake the Bruder Hygienic Eyelid Solution gently. Close eyes and apply 1-2 sprays directly onto the eyelids. Let the solution dry for 30 seconds; no rinsing required.
3. Set the Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress on a plate on the microwave rotating tray and microwave for 20 seconds. If more warmth is wanted, continue heating in 5-second increments. Do not exceed 30 seconds total. Check the temperature before use.
4. Apply the compress for 8-10 minutes over closed eyes or as prescribed by your doctor. The compress should not be applied tightly and can be used without the strap if desired.
5. Use the Bruder Hygienic Eyelid Sheets with the compress to absorb excess oil and keep the compress clean.

Care and Cleaning

• Compress: hand wash only in cold water with a mild detergent. Wait 2 hours after use before washing. Air dry for at least 24 hours before use.
• Wash the compress when it is exposed to makeup, creams, oils, grease or food.
• If using the compress daily, consider replacing after 6 months.

Warnings

• Not for use in open eyes. The eyelid solution is intended for use on the eyelids only. It is not intended for use in the eye.
• If the compress feels too hot, allow it to cool before reapplying.
• If the compress is reused within 30 minutes, reduce the heating time by half.
• Blurry vision may occur after treatment with the compress and clears within minutes.
• Remove microwave racks or shelves before heating the compress.

Storage

• Eyelid solution: for an unopened bottle, refer to the expiration date on the label. For opened bottles, use contents within 60 days.
