INDICATIONS AND USAGE Cyclopentolate hydrochloride is used to produce mydriasis and cycloplegia.
This medication is used prior to eye exams (such as refraction testing). It is in a group of medicines called anticholinergics and works by temporarily dilating (widening) the eye’s pupil and relaxing the eye muscles.
