About the Product

Large Moisture Release Eyewear is a wraparound eyewear frame that carries removable moisture cartridges. The frame is shiny black in the large size, with a 57 mm eyesize and a bendable nose bridge, and the gray lenses carry an anti fog coating. The box holds one pair of eyewear, two sets of cartridges and one microfiber bag for travel, storage and cleaning.

These are goggles rather than a sleep mask, and they are worn during the day. The cartridges are soaked in water for 30 seconds and fitted into each side of the frame, and the nose bridge is bent to close the frame against the face, so that water evaporating from the cartridges stays in the enclosed space behind the lenses rather than passing into the room. Moisture evaporates over a 3 to 4 hour period, after which the cartridges are removed, re-moistened and put back into the frame for another 3 to 4 hours. Each set of cartridges is good for 3 to 4 months of daily use, or about 120 uses, and two sets come in the box.

Specifications

How to Use

1. Soak the cartridges in water for 30 seconds, then place them on each side of the frame.
2. Bend the nose bridge to create a seal around your eyes.
3. If you do not get a perfect seal, you can also try gently fitting Croakies, a sport sunglass strap, to the frame.
4. Wear the eyewear. Moisture will evaporate for a 3 to 4 hour period.
5. After that, remove the cartridges, re-moisten them and insert them back into the frame for another 3 to 4 hours.

Care and Cleaning

Gently clean lenses as needed with the enclosed gray microfiber bag. If lenses or frames have dirt on them, rinse under warm water, air dry and clean with the microfiber cloth. Do not use soap to clean lenses or rub lenses with cloth, as it will reduce lifespan of the anti fog coating. Pat any moisture dry with the enclosed microfiber bag.

Each set of cartridges is good for 3 to 4 months of daily use, or about 120 uses, after which it is swapped for a fresh set.

Storage

Keep the eyewear in the included microfiber bag for travel and storage.
