Indications and Usage
For temporary relief of dryness, burning, and irritation of the eye caused by wind or sun exposure; also used as a protectant against further irritation.
Dosage and Administration
Apply a small amount (1/4 inch) of ointment to the inside of the lower eyelid every 3 to 4 hours, or as directed by a doctor.
Warnings and Precautions
- For external use only; do not touch the tube tip to the eye or any other surface
- Discontinue and consult a doctor if irritation or vision changes occur, or symptoms persist beyond 72 hours
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to mineral oil, white petrolatum, or any other component of the formulation.
Adverse Reactions
Temporary blurred vision may occur immediately following application due to the ointment base.
Storage and Handling
Store at room temperature.
