About the Product

This is a nighttime lid closure device, an adhesive seal applied over the closed eyelid at bedtime and peeled off in the morning. The routine is one pair a night: clean and dry the eyelids, apply, press the edges down, sleep, then remove by the tab and discard the used seals. Wearers are directed to start with one eye and move to both once the application and removal feel comfortable.

Regular

A box of 30 pairs of single-use SleepTite/SleepRite Regular lid seals, 30 nights of use with both eyes sealed. The seals are interchangeable between the left and right eye, are made with latex free materials, and each seal carries a pull tab for removal. The Regular variant uses the standard adhesive.

Sensitive

A box of 30 pairs of single-use SleepTite/SleepRite Sensitive lid seals, 30 nights of use with both eyes sealed. The seals are interchangeable between the left and right eye, are made with latex free materials, and each seal carries a pull tab for removal. The Sensitive variant uses a gentle adhesive for sensitive skin.

How to Use

1. Clean the upper and lower eyelids thoroughly with a gentle cleanser, then rinse and dry completely.
2. Do not apply gels or ointments before application, as they reduce adhesion.
3. If you are new to nighttime occlusion, start with one eye until you are comfortable with applying and removing the seal.
4. Close the eye and apply the lid seal over the eyelid, then use a finger to gently press around the edges for a secure fit.
5. Check that the eye is fully closed by looking for light coming through or for any ability to detect movement.
6. Position the tab temporally, toward the outer side, for easier removal in the morning. If the seal dislodges, position the tab nasally instead.
7. Keep the backing card on your nightstand in case you need to remove and reapply the seal during the night.
8. In the morning, grasp the tab and gently pull toward the opposite direction to where the tab is positioned, keeping the eyelid closed. If you experience any resistance, you can lightly dampen the edges with warm water to loosen the adhesive. Discard the used seal.
9. Once comfortable, you may apply the seals to both eyes.

Warnings

This device is single use only. Reuse of this device may lead to patient cross contamination and/or device failure.

Avoid touching the seal to other surfaces before applying it to the eye, to prevent cross contamination.

For external use only, on the skin around the eyes. Do not apply to the eyeballs.

If you experience any prolonged irritation, redness, or discomfort, discontinue use and consult with a healthcare professional.

Storage

Store the seals in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to preserve their adhesive quality.
