Product Information
About the Product
Soothe Night Time is a lubricant eye ointment supplied in a 1/8 oz (3.5 g) tube. It carries two active ingredients, white petrolatum 80% and mineral oil 20%, both with the stated purpose of lubricant. The label lists no inactive ingredients, so the tube contains only those two components.
This is an over-the-counter ocular lubricant in ointment form. A quarter inch ribbon is applied inside the lower eyelid one or more times daily, and because an ointment stays on the eye far longer than a drop, it is the form people use at bedtime rather than during the day. Contact lenses are not worn with it.
