About the Product

The TearRestore Premium Kit pairs the reusable TearRestore mask with two reusable heat packs and a 30 count box of HylaWipe eyelid towelettes. The two heat packs together provide up to 180 treatments. The reactivation kettle is not part of this kit and is sold separately.

The mask is an open eye warm compress. The distinguishing feature is the open eye design. The mask has eye openings, so the wearer keeps both eyes open and can read, work or watch television for the whole session instead of lying down with the eyes covered. A heat pack is warmed by flexing its metal disc, placed in the mask and worn for 10 to 15 minutes, once daily or twice daily as needed, then returned to liquid in boiling water for the next session. The HylaWipe towelettes are individually wrapped and pre moistened, for wiping the eyelids as part of a daily eyelid hygiene routine.

Materials

• Flexible and resilient polymer The material of the reusable mask frame.
• Food grade sodium acetate The fill of the heat pack. It crystallises when the metal disc is flexed, and the change of state is what produces the heat.
• Medical grade vinyl The outer pouch of the heat pack.
• Hyaluronic acid and plant extracts, including tea tree The components carried in the HylaWipe towelette solution, alongside its eyelid cleansing compounds.

How to Use

1. Flex the metal disc back and forth until crystals start to form. The pack will begin to heat.
2. Massage the pack until it is heated evenly.
3. Test the temperature of the heat pack with the back of your hand. If too warm, wait 1 minute before placing.
4. Place the heat pack into the mask and position the mask over the eyelids, with the eyes open.
5. Wear for 10 to 15 minutes, once daily, or twice daily as needed.
6. Reset the used heat pack in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes so it is ready for the next session.
7. Wipe the eyelids with a HylaWipe towelette, using one individually wrapped towelette per use.

Care and Cleaning

Reset each heat pack in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes, or in the TearRestore reactivation kettle. Do not microwave.

If the contents have not fully liquefied, boil for a few extra minutes, 15 minutes maximum. All contents of the heat pack should be completely liquid before removing from the boiling water.

Let the heat packs cool to room temperature after boiling before using them again. Each pack can be reactivated up to 90 times.

HylaWipe towelettes are single use. Use one towelette and discard it.

Warnings

• Do not microwave the heat packs.
• Test the temperature of the heat pack with the back of your hand. If too warm, wait 1 minute before placing.
• All contents of the heat pack should be completely liquid before removing from the boiling water.
• Let the heat packs cool to room temperature after boiling before using them again.

Storage

Store the heat packs as a liquid, fully reset and cooled, if you are not using them every day.
