About the Product

The TearRestore Reactivation Kettle is an electric kettle made for resetting TearRestore heat packs. It takes half a liter of water and runs on one click. This listing is the kettle only. The mask and the heat packs are sold separately.

A TearRestore heat pack is warmed by flexing the metal disc inside it, which crystallises the sodium acetate fill. Before the pack can be used again the fill has to be returned to liquid in boiling water, normally 5 to 10 minutes. The kettle does that step with one press, between warm compress sessions.

How to Use

  1. Fill the kettle with half a liter of water.
  2. Place the used heat pack in the kettle.
  3. Press the button once to start.
  4. Leave the pack in the water until all of its contents are completely liquid, normally 5 to 10 minutes and 15 minutes at the most.
  5. Remove the pack and let it cool to room temperature before using it again.

Warnings

  • Do not microwave the heat packs.
  • All contents of the heat pack should be completely liquid before removing from the boiling water.
  • Let the heat packs cool to room temperature after boiling before using them again.
  • Test the temperature of the heat pack with the back of your hand. If too warm, wait 1 minute before placing.

Storage

Store the heat packs as a liquid, fully reset and cooled, if you are not using them every day.
