About the Product

A box of 100 single-use 5 mL vials of VibrantVue Scleral Saline. It is a sterile, preservative free, unbuffered 0.9% saline solution with a pH between 5.1 and 5.6. Made in the USA.

This is a rinse and insertion fill solution for scleral lenses. It is used to rinse a scleral lens before insertion and to fill the back surface, or bowl, of the lens so the lens sits on the eye over a reservoir of saline. Each vial is opened, used once and discarded, and at one vial a day a 100 vial box is approximately a three month supply. It is a saline only, used after proper lens disinfection rather than in place of it.

Materials

Sodium chloride 0.9% The salt that makes the solution 0.9% saline.

The solution is preservative free and unbuffered, with a pH between 5.1 and 5.6.

How to Use

1. Wash and dry your hands before handling lenses.
2. Always handle the same lens first, the right or the left, to avoid mix-ups.
3. Following proper lens disinfection, rinse both sides of the lens and fill the back surface before insertion.
4. Discard the single use vial after each use.
