Product Description:
The EaglePlug TearFlow by Eagle Vision is a flow-control punctal plug designed for long-term punctal occlusion with partial tear drainage, making it an excellent solution for patients who require sustained relief from dry eye symptoms but do not tolerate full occlusion.
Unlike traditional solid plugs, the TearFlow model features a larger central lumen—up to 150% wider than the standard Tapered Shaft Flow Controller—allowing controlled tear outflow. This makes it ideal for patients prone to epiphora (excess tearing) or those who benefit from partial tear retention.
Recommended Use:

Select the appropriate size based on punctal diameter using standard measurement tools.

The plug should be inserted into the lower punctum using the preloaded disposable inserter.

Once in place, the plug provides ongoing occlusion while allowing some tear drainage through its internal lumen.
