About the Product

OPTASE Manuka Oil Eyelid Cleansing Gel is a 3-in-1 manuka oil formula that cleanses, moisturizes and soothes the eyelids, supplied in a 1.7 fl oz (50 mL) pump bottle. The formula is preservative and alcohol free, dermatologically tested, and suitable for sensitive skin and for all ages. Used twice daily on both eyes, one bottle is a two month supply, and it is used within 6 months of opening.

This is an eyelid and lash cleanser for daily eyelid hygiene, used morning and evening. The gel is massaged over closed eyelids and the base of the lashes with clean fingertips to remove impurities, dirt, debris and makeup, then rinsed off with water. It is step 2, Cleanse, of the OPTASE three step regimen of Heat, Cleanse and Hydrate.

• Leptospermum Scoparium (Manuka) Branch/Leaf Oil The manuka oil the gel is named for, an essential oil from the manuka plant.
• Sodium Hyaluronate The salt form of hyaluronic acid, a humectant that holds water on the skin.
• Glycerin A humectant that moisturizes the skin of the eyelids.
• Panthenol Provitamin B5, a moisturizing ingredient in the gel base.
• Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice Aloe vera, included to comfort sensitive eyelids.
• Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate and Decyl Glucoside Gentle surfactants that lift oil and debris from the lid margin so it can be rinsed away.

How to Use

Use daily, morning and evening.

1. Wash your hands.
2. Place the gel on clean fingertips.
3. Close the eyes and gently clean and massage the eyelids and eyelashes with the gel.
4. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and towel dry the area.

• Do not apply directly into the eye.
• Remove contact lenses before use.
• Do not use if you have known allergies to any of the ingredients.

• Discontinue use if you experience any redness, irritation or any other adverse reaction and consult your Eye Care Specialist.
