Description
INDICATIONS AND USAGE Timolol maleate ophthalmic solution USP is indicated in the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. This glaucoma medication features a lower dosage at half the standard strength of 0.5% with Timolol Maleate 0.25%.
It is typically used when beta-blocker therapy alone does not achieve target eye pressures. It works by reducing the amount of fluid within the eye and is used for open-angle glaucoma and other causes of elevated intraocular pressure.
